Spring is coming! The flowers will be blooming and the grass will be getting greener... I am so ready! I made these little gift baskets up last spring and working on creating more for this season! I sold them from my porch & at some craft shows.. the little baskets are sweet smelling and oh so pretty to look at!
I purchased the blue "berry baskets" from Amazon and I LOVE using these little containers for gifts! I stamped different sentiments and at one of my craft shows, customers could design & fill their own gift baskets to buy! Mini clothespins and little scraps of leftover paper make a fun embellishment!
"Oh happy day" and "hello sunshine" are two of my favorite sayings and can be used for any kind of gift, really... a thank you present, birthday, thinking of you...
The most time consuming part of this basket was making the lavender rose candles but they smell sooo good! I covered the candle tins with coordinating scrapbook paper and found these flower coasters at Dollar Tree! The designed the label on the the computer and punched it out and attached with glue tape.
A mini spring mix of flowers was added to the basket.. also called a nosegay bouquet. I cut off all the flowers I liked, about 4 or 5 for each bouquet, and wrapped the ends together with floral tape.
Other things I added in the basket were:
Floral gardening gloves
Seeds packaged in a mini envelope I made out of scrapbook paper
A generic card that said "Let Love Grow"
You could also add other gardening things like gardening tools, mini pots, maybe some garden themed stickers?
I sold so many of these mini baskets for Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation! You can easily switch out the card depending on what occasion it is or add a tag. For the one below, I used a paper napkin as tissue paper! There are SO many pretty paper napkins out there!
Mini gift sets are so fun to make and I love gifting them! It's easy to brighten someone's day with just a few thoughtful things! I also love to pick out the things that theme well together! Have you ever recieved a gift basket that made your day? Who was it from? What fun things were in it?
